About the Speaker Series
The Voices in Compassion Studies Speaker Series (ViCS) invites you to join a transformative online journey where leading scholars, educators, advocates, and practitioners explore both the theory and practice of compassion. In a world that often feels divided, this series sheds light on the power of compassion to foster connection, understanding, and positive change. Each speaker brings a unique perspective, drawing from diverse fields such as Jain Studies, psychology, education, social justice, and mindfulness to offer fresh insights into how compassion can be cultivated in our daily lives, communities, and institutions.
Following each live online talk, participants have the opportunity to dive deeper through an interactive, moderated Q&A session with the speaker. This dynamic discussion format allows you to engage directly with thought leaders, share your perspectives, and ask questions that matter to you. The speaker series is therefore not just about listening—it is about participating in a meaningful conversation that helps shape a more compassionate future for all of us.
Whether you are a student, educator, community leader, or simply someone interested in the potential of compassion to transform society, the Voices in Compassion Studies Speaker Series provides an inclusive platform for learning, reflection, and action. Join us to be inspired, connect with like-minded individuals, and contribute your voice to a growing movement that aims to build a more empathetic and compassionate world. All ViCS events are free of charge and open to the public.
